Participants will work with paints specifically designed to work with fabrics such as cottons, linens and silk. There will be 8 different colors to try. Additionally in this workshop students will work with fluid mediums, make acrylic skins that can be sewn or used for collage. Mary will demonstrate a product called soft gel which works as a fabric glue in appliqué and students will have a chance to play with this and many other products. Participants will leave with various 6x6 inch squares each illustrating usage of a particular product. The focus of the workshop is to learn how to use Golden’s products most effectively on fabric.
